I am neutral on NVDA at ~$207 and a ~$5.0T market cap: CUDA and hyperscaler demand still support the franchise, but that upside is largely in the price and overlaps hard with AMD, AVGO, MSFT, and GOOGL I already hold. I am holding, not adding, unless the Aug 26, 2026 print clears the ~$93.6B revenue bar with a clean raise — or cutting if it misses and guide softens.

The thesis
I am neutral on NVDA at $207.29 and roughly a $5.0T market cap because the CUDA moat and hyperscaler AI buildout are real, but they are already in the price and already in my book through other names. My bet is not on collapse or on another leg of multiple expansion — it is that the Aug 26, 2026 earnings (Street at ~$93.6B revenue and ~$2.13 EPS) roughly validates the current franchise without giving me a fat skew to add. The mechanism on the hold side is fifteen years of CUDA lock-in and the fact MSFT and GOOGL still route large training and inference buys through Nvidia even while they fund alternatives; the mechanism capping upside is that my AMD thesis is explicitly a share-gain bet against Nvidia and AVGO is monetizing the custom-ASIC and networking escape hatch those same hyperscalers want. Asymmetry is muted: a clean beat-and-raise can still work, but a miss or flat guide on a $5T name derates hard, and time-decay favors waiting because Jul MSFT/GOOGL capex commentary and May AMD data-center numbers arrive first. This neutral hold breaks to bullish if NVDA clears ~$93.6B and raises the data-center outlook; it breaks to bearish if that print misses or guide softens.
